"Healing is about letting go of everything that isn't you - all of the expectations, all of the beliefs - and becoming who you are." - Dr. Rachel Naomi Remen
About Me
I come to this work with a deep respect for the healing process and the vulnerability that my clients bring to the space. I believe that the therapeutic relationship is critical for change to occur. I bring warmth, curiosity, presence, and sometimes humor to our sessions.
My Approach
I offer a warm and conversational approach to support individuals and couples in the process of exploration, reflection, and healing. Working collaboratively, I will help you bring awareness to old patterns that may no longer be serving you. Our work may involve explorative, insight-focused talk therapy as well as body-oriented mindfulness to get in touch with all of your dimensions and restore a sense of connectedness to yourself and others.
-
I work with individuals hoping to become more connected to themselves and others, who want to find more ease in their life, within their own body, and in their intimate relationships. I invite people who find themselves in a period of transition and feel stuck or uncertain about how to move forward.
-
I help couples who are feeling disconnected and want to learn new ways of communicating and interacting. I work with couples wanting to heal from infidelity, are experiencing intimacy issues or who are interested in navigating ethical non monogamy.
-
Whether you are struggling with postpartum depression, experiencing challenges navigating your relationship with your partner in this new role, or just looking for a space that is just for you, I can work with you to find ease in this period.
